The Verizon Motorola Droid Xtreme android phone appeared at gadgetuniversity. The phone has a nice design. The screen is awesome and the colors are much better than the Droid. It runs Android 2.1 wit a new version of MotoBLUR. The phone is powered by 750Mhz TI OMAP3630 processor (not 1GHz SnapDragon CPU? Unconfirmed) and has a large 4.3″ touchscreen, an 8.0MP camera. It also supports HDMI OUT. In addition, the Verizon Motorola Droid Xtreme will be launch next month.

The new Verizon LG VS750 Fanthom is a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 smartphone. And it will be available start June 3 for for $149.99 with a 2-year contract, after a $100 mail-in rebate. The LG Fanthom is also a QWERTY phone. It has a nice size: 115.5 x 56.5 x 17mm and weights 152.7g. The phone looks like LG Ally (but running Android), right? But this is a WinMo phone, and it features:

* 1GHz processor
* GSM and UMTS networks
* a 3.2-inch 800 x 480 pixel display
* 4-row sliding-out QWERTY keyboard
* 3.5mm stereo headphone jack
* microSD memory card slot (up to 16GB)
