Samsung released a new smartphone – Samsung Wave S8500. The phone runs the Bada platform and it has received a certificate of DivX HD. So the Samsung Wave is the world’s first DivX HD phone. The Wave features a 1 Ghz processor, a 3.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 5MP camera with HD video recording, Bluetooth 3.0, HSDPA, Wi-Fi,FM Radio, music player, 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS and microSD card (up to 32G).

In addition, Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy S – the second DivX HD phone.
